SUNDAY MORNING OPPORTUNITIES FOR ADULTS
COMMON GROUNDS – Room 106, Main Building 9:00-10:20 am.This space is the place to come if you need to catch your breath on Sunday mornings. You’ll find coffee, tea, a relaxed atmosphere and friendly service at the coffee bar, offered at the same time as Children’s Education and Child Care. The room includes a small library with books for children and adults and comfortable seating. No agenda but to fill your cup and calm your spirit.
FAITH AND FAMILY CLASS – Room 210 (back of Sanctuary) – 9:30 – 10:20 am. Families are important at Epworth, and we encourage parents to bring their children to choir and/or Sunday School or Acolyte Fellowship…then grab some coffee in Common Grounds before gathering at 9:30 in Sharon’s office (room 210 at the back of the Sanctuary). COME JOIN US -- Room 205, Main Building 9:15 – 10:00 am.This group combines Sunday morning discussion with monthly fellowship and service events. The fall study is based on The Ten Commandments from the Backside. The third Sunday of every month, Come Join Us meets at Perkins for breakfast, 8:45 am. Always happy to welcome visitors and new friends!
THE OPEN DOOR – Room305 (balcony) 9:30-10:20 am.The Open Door is a community of individuals of diverse ages and mindsets simply trying to find their way through life. This group asks a lot of questions and doesn't always have the answers, but always has thought-provoking discussions. Instead, they seek to ensure that each individual grows spiritually by sharing with each other. The group rotates leadership and themes and shares in mission work and fellowship beyond Sunday morning.
MESSENGERS -- Room 111, Main Building 9:30-10:20 am.Messengers is a group committed both to the study of scripture and to care for one another. There is shared leadership and shared spiritual conversation designed to strengthen each person's life.
Grounds for thought
The Epworth Book Club that meets on the 4th Tuesday at 1:00 pm in the Coffee House (Room 106). The book of the month is discussed. Join them for conversation, camaraderie and light refreshments. All are welcome.
