Rev. David Hoffman - Senior Pastor

Pastor David Hoffman is a native of Marion and Marion Epworth United Methodist Church.  David has served as the Pastor of the Prospect United Methodist Church and as the Associate Pastor of the Worthington United Methodist Church.  While in seminary, David also served Marion Epworth UMC as a Student Associate.  David brings with him a contagious faith, a passion for outreach, a heart for nurturing relationships, and a strong desire to teach and learn from others’ experiences.  David serves on several state and national boards that seek to improve the lives of children living with special healthcare needs.  David and his wife, Melissa, have twin daughters, Andrea and Alyson.  Melissa is an elementary teacher at Pleasant Local Schools where Andrea and Alyson are students.

Sharon Gilbert - Director Of Ministries with Children & Families

Following a career as an elementary teacher and Reading Recovery Teacher Leader, Sharon Gilbert is enjoying her "second calling" as Director Of Ministries with Children & Families. At Epworth, Sharon has been excited to include Godly Play in Children's Sunday School and is pleased to help Epworth become a Safe Sanctuaries church.
